The Big Rim Tool is designed to help you shape and maintain round rims with control and consistency. The smaller end is ideal for rounding smaller forms like espresso cups and standard mugs, while the overall size of the tool makes it best suited for carving, sgraffito, and surface work on larger forms.
A sturdy post gives you something solid to hold while you carve, etch, or play with surface design — keeping rims supported and round with less drifting out of shape.
